Mary Lou Fetrow, 78, of rural La Fontaine, Indiana, died at 12:10 p.m., Monday, November 11, 2013 at Wabash County Hospital. She was born June 20, 1935 in Marion, Indiana to George and Lucille (Pulley) King.

Mary Lou attended Indiana University in Indianapolis for two years. She married Ernest C. Fetrow in Daleville, Indiana, on August 18, 1951. She was a respiratory therapist at Wabash County Hospital retiring after 26 years. Mary Lou was a member of Treaty Church of Christ. She enjoyed square dancing and was a member of Wabash Slicks and Chicks, Manchester Belles and Beaus, and Christmas City Squares. She assembled and built miniature doll houses.

She is survived by her husband, Ernest C. Fetrow of La Fontaine, three children, Bonita (Michael) Snell of Urbana, Indiana, Christopher Fetrow of Marion, Indiana, and John (Karen) Fetrow of North Manchester, Indiana, seven grandchildren, Alisha Snell of Marion, Matthew (Joanie) Snell of Wabash, Amber of Marion, Benjamin (Cyndi) Fetrow of Kendallville, Indiana, Jennifer Riccius of Indianapolis, Joseph Bloomer of Wisconsin, and Amanda Bloomer of North Manchester; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Niles David (BJ) King of Marion, two sisters, Beverly Waggoner of Marion and Karen (Skip) Kramer of Scranton, Pennsylvania, brother-in-law, William Fetrow of Marion. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Nicholas John Fetrow, and brother, Richard King.

Funeral services will be held at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, on November 14, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Doug Oakes and Scott Saltsman, ministers, officiating. Burial will be in La Fontaine I.O.O.F. Cemetery, LaFontaine. Friends may call Wednesday, from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm and 1 hour prior to service, Thursday, at the funeral home.
